have a lovely day in london! so jealousss. even though it's late there. (it's almost 5 pm here. I have the clock on my dock set to London time ha). So have a good day...tomorrow.
Q: had you been to London before now? What made you choose London for your internship as opposed to other places in Europe/the world?
Have a lovely day in the US! (where are you from? I don't know if I ever asked!)
I had been to London as a baby and Italy/Greece/France for 3 weeks during junior high, but this was my first time being here for a long period of time & being away from my family.
The major that I'm studying (music industry) had this abroad program kind of planned into the curriculum because London has a big music scene. So it just made sense to intern here! Not having a language barrier is a nice plus too, although I will admit I sometimes can't understand what people are saying here!
Thanks! I'm living in Florida right now, but my hometown is in Connecticut.
Oh really? I'm going to Italy in February over my break. I'm going with my school. It's the same organization that I went to London/Amsterdam with.
Oh wow so if you are a major in the music industry at your school, you have a huge opportunity to study abroad? That's great. Haha yes, I like London because there isn't another language widely spoken there, but yes I found while talking to some locals, their accents were really heavy and it was a bit difficult to understand them.
3,4,5,11 & 12 to you :)
