After a week of non-stop sightseeing with my mom, I am officially wiped out! This weekend was daylight savings time over here (a week earlier than in the US, weird right?) so I was very glad to be able to get an extra hour of sleep!
Because my roommates and I have to intern tomorrow morning (and because they too are wiped out from break!) we're keeping our Halloween festivities to a minimum. It's weird not carving pumpkins or getting dressed up!
Instead, I'm sitting around wearing my Minnie Mouse ears and that's about all I'm doing today.
What are your Halloween plans/ What is everyone getting dressed up as?
OH MY GOD that's why my mac said it was 9 pm in London, when it was 5 here! I was like WHAT. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE 10 PM THERE. I was getting so mad thinking my computer did something haha oh man i probably look so weird right now. that's so weird it's a week before us in america.
ReplyDeleteok now i'm gonna read the rest of your post.
Aw you look cute :) Yeah I'm taking it easy here too. Probably just handing out candy. I want to do something but my friends don't believe in Halloween.
Do they do anything different for Halloween in London? Do they do the same things we do (dress up, give out candy, pumpkins etc etc.)
The daylight savings thing is very strange! It's dark really early now (around 5pm) and we keep thinking it's a lot later than it really is.
ReplyDeleteYep London celebrates Halloween! We were planning on going out but we didn't realize that most of the clubs that were having themed parties were ticketed! So the ones we wanted to go to ended up being sold out.
There aren't really many houses around us (just apartment complexes) so we haven't seen many trick or treaters tonight! But I am eating a lot of candy.
